每年夏季，美國駐華使團處理的學生和學者簽證申請數量在全年中是最多的。美國提供的事實和數據如下：

美國歡迎合法的中國學生和學者。來自中國的學生和學者極大地促進了美國的多元化。美國是全球接收中國留學生的首要目的地。過去十年，來自中國的留學生人數是之前的三倍，我們對促進了這一人員往來感到驕傲。

美國致力于為合法旅行提供便利，我們的決心一如既往地堅定，這體現在美國駐華使團自2021年5月以來簽發了超過8.5萬張學生簽證。

鑒于某些濫用簽證程序的行為，美國實施了一項只針對少數人的政策，以保護美國的國家安全利益，這項政策只影響到極少比例的F類簽證和J類簽證申請人。

美國不斷審視自己的政策和裁決，為所有簽證申請人的合法旅行提供便利。各項數據清楚地表明，美國隨時準備向包括中國學生和學者在內的所有符合條件的人發放簽證。

More than 85,000 student visas issued by Mission China since May 2021

As summer is the time of year where U.S. Mission China processes the bulk of student and scholar visa applications, the United States provides the following facts and figures.

The United States welcomes legitimate Chinese students and scholars.  Students and scholars from China contribute greatly to America’s diversity. The United States is the top receiving destination globally for Chinese students, and we are proud of the personal ties we have fostered in tripling the number of students from China over the past 10 years.

The U.S. commitment to facilitating legitimate travel is as strong as ever, as demonstrated by the more than 85,000 student visas Mission China has issued since May 2021.

In light of some abuses of the visa process, the United States implemented a narrowly targeted policy to protect U.S. national security interests. That policy impacts a tiny percentage of the overall number of F and J visa applicants.

The United States constantly reviews its policies and adjudications to facilitate the legitimate travel of all visa applicants.  The numbers show clearly that the United States stands ready to issue visas to all those who are qualified—including Chinese students and scholars.

 We continue to prioritize student visas and our consular officers--along with thousands of schools throughout the United States--are eager to assist Chinese students and scholars.
